Der State Security Service (SSS; deutsch Staatssicherheitsdienstcite-ref-ai12-1-0[1]) ist der Inlandsnachrichtendienst von Nigeria (Sitz: Abuja). Seit etwa 2011 wird der Nachrichtendienst als Department of State Services (DSS) bezeichnet, obwohl die Namensänderung nicht im Amtsblatt publiziert wurde.cite-ref-2[2] Der Dienst wurde 1986 gegründet.cite-ref-3[3] Dem Dienst werden Menschenrechtsverletzungen vorgeworfen.cite-ref-ai12-1-1[1]
